First Alert Weather Day for Saturday
(WSAZ) – Low pressure has finally made its way into the region for the day today, pulling in moisture and bringing about much needed rain for everyone within the WSAZ viewing area. This shower and thunderstorm activity will look to begin taking a break toward the early and middle portions of the afternoon hours of today in areas along and north of I-64, with rain looking to continue in areas along and south of I-64. A weak frontal disturbance will work on into the region by evening, driving better chances of showers and storms for everyone between 7 and 9 PM over the River Cities, and 11 PM to Midnight over the Charleston area and points east. After midnight, a lot of the region should see the development of clearing conditions, which should continue into the day on Saturday.

Free Expo to Connect WV Small Businesses to Supplier Opportunities With Large Companies
The Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center (MAMC) and Advantage Valley will present an Industrial Supplier Expo on Sept. 26 from 9 a.m. to noon at Valley Park in Hurricane. Church plans to rebuild after partial structure collapse
BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -Structural issues are believed to be the reason behind a partial structural collapse at a Barboursville church on Wednesday, according to first responders. Matt Waskey, the Senior Pastor at Elmwood Missionary Baptist Church, said he was shocked when he got word that part of the church collapsed.
