Woman injured in two-vehicle wreck in west Pocatello

POCATELLO — A woman was rushed to the hospital following a two-vehicle wreck that temporarily shut down a west Pocatello intersection on Wednesday evening.

The collision involving Hyundai and Ford sedans occurred around 8:30 p.m. at West Carson Street and North Grant Avenue next to Raymond Park.

The adult female driver of one of the cars was injured in the crash. She was transported via Pocatello Fire Department ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center for treatment of what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Her name hasn't been released.

The crash shut down the West Carson-North Grant intersection for about 45 minutes.

Further details on the wreck were not immediately available.

The crash is being investigated by Pocatello police.
