    AMERICAN LEGION ROUNDUP: Pocatello Razorbacks take Game 1 of doubleheader against Minico

    Cooper Bowman logged two hits and two RBIs, as the Pocatello Post 4 Razorbacks A team downed the Minico Storm A team 8-5 in the opener of a doubleheader Friday.

    Gavin Flynn drove in three runs and also picked up the win on the bump. He allowed just one earned run and threw four strikeouts.

    The nightcap was still in progress at press time.

    POCATELLO POST 4 RUNNIN’ REBELS AA 5, AA TRAPPERS 3Gunner Wilhelm and Kudter Stucki logged two hits and an RBI apiece, as the Runnin’ Rebels (22-8) earned another win at the Bozeman AA Invitational Friday.

    Hudson John drove in a pair of runs, while Colt Durham got the win on the hill. He allowed just five hits, two earned runs and fanned four batters.

    MINICO STORM LEGION B 2, POCATELLO RAYS POST 4 0Elizar Rosales had two of the Rays’ (18-5) three hits for their third loss in four games Friday.

    BEAR LAKE LEGION B 9, KIMBERLY DOGS B LEGION 5Jack Hulme fanned 12 batters and allowed just three earned runs, as Bear Lake (3-5) got the win Friday.

    Wyatt Stuecklen went 3-for-4 from the plate with a pair of RBIs in the win.

    BLACKFOOT 4B POST 23 18U 9, BOBCATS BASEBALL CLUB 17U 7Mason Layton chalked up three hits and a RBI, as Blackfoot (19-10) snapped a 3-game slide Friday.

    Jason Williams drove in a game-high four RBIs in the win.

    POCATELLO POST 4 REBELS A DROP DOUBLEHEADER TO TRIBE LEGION AJonathan Adams combined for two hits, including a double, and a pair of RBIs, as the Rebels (8-28-1) lost a 10-0, 15-5 doubleheader Friday.

    They only tallied five hits between the two games.

    FILER CATS LEGION B 12, POCATELLO RENEGADES 4 2Brock Aiken and Joseph Guerrero had the Renegades’ (3-18) only two hits of the game in a loss Friday.

    BUHL 16, BEAR LAKE LEGION B 1Dax Perkins’ RBI double in the bottom of the third inning accounted for Bear Lake’s lone run of the game in a loss Thursday.

    Bear Lake only had two hits for the game.

    TWIN FALLS COWBOYS LEGION A 17U 4, BLACKFOOT 4B POST 23 18U 3Dax Poole notched two hits as Blackfoot gave up three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning for a heartbreaking loss Thursday.

    POCATELLO RAYS POST 4 11, FILER CATS LEGION B 7Carson Branson and Elizar Rosales recorded two hits each, as the Rays earned a win Thursday.

    Branson and Justin Baker drove in two runs, as well.

    MINICO STORM LEGION B 10, POCATELLO RENEGADES POST 4 1Rafael Nieto drove in the Renegades’ only run of the game on an RBI double in the top of the fifth inning in a loss Thursday.

    The Renegades finished the game with just three hits.

    POCATELLO POST 4 RUNNIN’ REBELS AA 11, KALISPELL AA 5Garett Keller, Gunner Wilhelm and Preston Foltz all tallied two hits apiece, as the Runnin’ Rebels picked up a win at the Bozeman AA Invitational Thursday.

    Foltz and Elias Blackhawk both drove in three runs, too.

    IDAHO FALLS BEES A 13, BLACKFOOT 4A POST 23 18U 1, 6 INNINGS

    Jason Williams’ RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning was Blackfoot’s only run and one of just two hits on the day in a loss Thursday.

    POCATELLO RAZORBACKS SWEEP MALAD POST 65 DRAGONS A2 17U

    CJ Short piled up four hits, including a double, and five RBIs, as the Razorbacks cruised to a 10-0, 13-2 doubleheader win Wednesday.

    Colter Wheatley added three RBIs.

    On the mound, the Razorbacks got good performances out of both Boston Sorenson and Tyler Adams. Sorenson allowed just three hits and struck out four in the opener. Tyler Adams then tossed a one hitter with three strikeouts in the nightcap.

    Carter Blaisdell had two hits for the Dragons (4-10) on the day.
