Premier Properties Real Estate Co. to hold open house on Thursday for new housing development in Pocatello

POCATELLO — Premier Properties Real Estate Co. is set to hold a ribbon cutting and open house at its new housing development on Thursday.

Mike Wheelock, broker and owner of Premier Properties, said the development consists of three duplexes and 13 fourplexes. Each unit is made from a Done Wall system patented by SnapTight Products of Pocatello.

“It’s a townhouse development geared at high efficiency and an overall newer product to the building market,” Wheelock said.

Some of the townhouses feature three bedrooms and others feature four bedrooms. Wheelock said all of the units have two and a half bathrooms and a two car garage.

“The open house will consist of a view of both the three and four bedroom units,” he said.

The development is located at 1967 S. First Ave. in Pocatello. They are on the farthest south section of First Avenue.

The townhomes are close to well-known local places such as Ross Park and Idaho State University.

“They are pretty close to all the recreation in Pocatello,” Wheelock said.

Premier Properties Real Estate Co. will hold the ribbon cutting at noon on Thursday, July 18. The open house will follow starting at 1 p.m. and will continue until 5 p.m.

There will be a live radio broadcast from KZBQ as well as giveaways from local businesses. Food trucks such as Smokin’ Buds and Wild Noodle will also be there.

The event will feature a demonstration of Done Wall by SnapTight Products. They are a local company that developed and patented the Done Wall system to make construction simpler and faster.
