    Wednesday, July 31Alive After Five will take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, at Sandy Downs in Idaho Falls. Perfect Chaos will be live on stage.

    Revive @ 5 takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays in the summer at Lookout Point in downtown Pocatello. There will be live music, food, cold beverages and fun for the entire family.

    Wanderlust Craft Beer Taproom & Wine Bar, 1799 Hurley Dr. Suite A, in Pocatello, will host its July wine tasting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 31. Come try a wine tasting featuring five Paso Robles wines.

    Montana’s Shakespeare in the Park is coming to ISU’s Frazier Hall lawn, with a “Winter’s Tale” at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 31. These annual outdoor performances bring the classic stories of Shakespeare to life and all are welcome to attend for free. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets.

    Load ‘em in the Dark Cattle Company’s regular Wednesday night team roping from 6 to 10 p.m. in the Indoor Arena at the Bannock County Event Center in Pocatello. Admission is free.

    Wednesday-Saturday, July 31-Aug. 3Idaho’s oldest rodeo, the War Bonnet Round Up, returns this week at Sandy Downs near Idaho Falls. This year’s rodeo will kick off on Wednesday, July 31, with a free event from 5 to 7 p.m. The full rodeo will be held Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 1-3. Parking and gates open at 4:30 p.m., with the kid’s rodeo beginning at 5:45 p.m., the PRCA rodeo beginning at 7 p.m. and the event ending around 10 p.m. Visit warbonnetroundup.org for more information and to buy tickets.

    Thursday, Aug. 1No Such Animal: Music on Main is set for 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at Victor City Park, 80 N. Main St. in Victor. No Such Animal is a home recorded rock band that started in Utah. They put energetic riffs and catchy melodies together to create a sporadic blend of almost every rock sub genre.

    ISU’s summer concert series concludes with Tiger Tunes at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at the Frazier Hall lawn. Tiger Tunes is composed of passionate college students whose love for music guides their performances. This band of young virtuosos promises an unforgettable musical experience that will leave you wanting more. All are welcome to attend. Admission is free.

    The Yellowstone Restaurant, 230 W. Bonneville St. in Pocatello, hosts live jazz featuring Freddy Gildersleeve and rotating guests every Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Y Lounge.

    Cold Dark Whiskey will perform live for the Live United Concert Series at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at The Waterfront at Snake River Landing in Idaho Falls.

    Music in the Park featuring the Aaron Ball Band will take place starting at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at American Falls City Park.

    Station Square, 200 S. Main St. in Pocatello, hosts open mic night every Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m.

    “Ezra” will be shown at 5 and 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at ISU’s Bengal Theater. Divorced stand-up comedian Max Bernal struggles to raise his autistic son, Ezra. Forced to confront difficult decisions about the boy’s future, Max and Ezra embark on a cross-country road trip that has a transcendent impact on both of their lives. Admission is $3 for the public, $2 for ISU staff and free for ISU students with a valid Bengal ID.

    First Friday Art Walk will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, throughout downtown Pocatello.

    The 12th annual Splish & Splash fundraiser for Aid For Friends homeless shelter will take place from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at the Ross Park Aquatic Center. Admission includes a pulled-chicken dinner catered by Del Monte Meats, entrance into the Ross Park swimming pool and use of the slides, and beach balls to play with and take home. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 2 to 17 (under 2 are free).

    Country star Gary Allan will perform at the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel in Fort Hall at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2. Tickets start at $49 and can be purchased at shobangaming.yapsody.com.

    This week’s Chubbuck Movies in the Park features “Mario Bros” sponsored by Gateway Transitional Care Center, at dusk Friday, Aug. 2, at Stuart Park, 5161 Stuart Ave. Attendees are asked to come early and bring their own chairs and/or blankets. In case of inclement weather, movies will be rescheduled for the following Saturday at dusk. Admission is free.

    Friday-Sunday, Aug. 2-4The city of Ammon will host Ammon Days Weekend Friday through Sunday, Aug. 2-4. It begins with a hot air balloon glow on Friday evening and concludes with a hot air balloon liftoff on Sunday morning.     Saturday, Aug. 3The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through October at Lookout Point in downtown Pocatello.

    The Blackfoot Farmers Market will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through October at 1800 E. Airport Road in Blackfoot.

    The Neon Street Fest returns from 3 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, on the 200 and 300 blocks of East Center Street in downtown Pocatello. Layne Brown will perform live on the rooftop stage from 3 to 6 p.m., and the Opskamatrists will perform from 7 to 10 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and wear your best neon. Family friendly, and admission is free.

    Southeastern Idaho Public Health will host the Steps for Change: Overdose Awareness and Stigma Reduction Walk at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Lookout Point, 426 W. Lewis in Pocatello. This free event aims to raise awareness about the overdose crisis and reduce the stigma associated with addiction.

    Levi Blom will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Idaho Dunes RV, 1695 E. 500 N. in Saint Anthony. Levi Blom is an emerging country music singer/songwriter who was born and raised in Butte, Montana.

    Sunday, Aug. 4The Pocatello Municipal Band will present the sixth and final concert of the 2024 season of Music in the Park 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, at Ross Park in the Guy Gates Memorial Band Shell. Take a trip to the movies with the season finale “Movie Mania” concert featuring music from films such as “Beetlejuice,” “Top Gun” and “Barbie.”
