Pocomoke City opens new brewery, Ocean City welcomes The Border Bar | What's Going There

Summer is off to a splendid start on the Eastern Shore. Along with the change in seasons comes a slew of brand-new businesses.

Here's what's new in the business world this week.

Pocomoke City

Cypress Roots Brewing Company

148 Market St

Pocomoke City's Cypress Roots Brewing Company , located at 148 Market Street, celebrated its official grand opening in June. The brand-new brewery later celebrated its ribbon cutting ceremony on July 11.

Cypress Roots Brewing Company's beer selection is traditional, with each brew representing the Pocomoke City community. Three selections currently on-deck include Pocomoke Punch, an American wheat beer; Dividing Creek Stout, a creamy, coffee-like stout; and Session Wheat, a light, refreshing wheat beer.

The brewery does not offer food, with the exception of pre-packaged nuts and chips. However, the brewery is partnered with Pocomoke City's very own Dockside, Café Milano and Golden Garden Restaurant. Patrons may place an order at any of the three restaurants and have food brought directly to the brewery.

According to its Facebook page, Cypress Roots Brewing Company is now open Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays from 1 to 9 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Ocean City

The Border Bar

The town of Ocean City recently welcomed a new face to its ever-growing business scene: The Border Bar , where Annabelle's BBQ meets Barrio Taco. The Border Bar, located at 104 64th Street, celebrated its official grand opening on July 2.

According to its official website, The Border Bar is now open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Border Bar is offering customers Southern-style barbeque from Annabelle's BBQ alongside authentic Mexican cuisine from Barrio Taco. In addition to an extensive lineup of appetizing food, the bar is also serving up fun, craft cocktails.

Berlin

Bour Agave Bourbon & Tequila Joint

104 N Main St

The small town of Berlin recently welcomed yet another new small business to Main Street: Bour Agave Bourbon & Tequila Joint . The seafood restaurant and bar comes straight from the minds of Oaked 110 Whiskey & Wine Bar.

Bour Agave Bourban & Tequila Joint, located at 104 North Main Street, celebrated its official grand opening on June 1. The business is bringing customers all things bourbon, tequila, delectable cuisine and live music.

As stated on its official website, Bour Agave Bourban & Tequila Joint is now open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays.

Le Macaron French Pastries

Rehoboth Beach's Le Macaron French Pastries celebrated its official grand opening at 70 Rehoboth Avenue, Unit 2, on June 25. The pastry shop invites customers to indulge in authentic French macarons, pastries and chocolates.

Le Macaron French Pastries, founded by Rosalie Guillem and Audrey Guillem-Saba, is serving up an array of pastries made with unique flavors and natural ingredients. The pastry shop is open from daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Bomshell Boutique

146 Rehoboth Ave

Rehoboth Beach's Bomshell Boutique recently relocated to 146 Rehoboth Avenue. The boutique, owned and operated by Jaime Carter-Houck, celebrated its ribbon cutting ceremony at its brand-new location in June.

According to its Facebook page, Bomshell Boutique — which sells an array of women's clothing, accessories and jewelry — is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Barnes and Noble

36470 Seaside Outlet Dr

Tanger Outlets Seaside, located at 36470 Seaside Outlet Drive in Rehoboth Beach, is set to welcome Barnes and Noble this upcoming fall. The bookstore is said to open in the outlet's former Brooks Brothers space.
