Wyoming Area Class of 1974 planning reunion
Wyoming Area High School, Class of 1974, will celebrate their 50th Class Reunion on Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Gramercy Restaurant in Pittston. There will be music and a raffle table. Cost is $40 per person with a cash bar. For reservations, make checks payable to Karen Ferrett by July 15. One dead after crash in Lycoming County
LYCOMING COUNTY, Pa. — One person is dead, and another is in the hospital after a crash in Lycoming County Saturday night. According to the Lycoming County Coroner's Office, Kathleen McFadden, 65, was killed when a Jeep driving south on Route 87 in Upper Fairfield Township near Montoursville crossed into oncoming traffic and hit the car she was a passenger in just after 6 p.m.

Cool story. Bloggable though? You tell me. Rowdy Tellez and Bryan Reynolds became the first pair of teammates in MLB History to each hit two home runs, including a grand slam a piece. Tied a franchise record 7 home runs as a team, scoring all 14 of their runs from the long ball. And with Paul Skenes improved his rookie record to 5-0. But at the end of the day, I'd lean on the side of this being non-bloggable material aside from perhaps if we had a Pirates specific or MLB only writer. Besides, at 42-45, Pittsburgh is too low in the standings for me to be caring about!
