Tucker Begins Competition at 2024 Paris Olympics on Saturday
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University rifle All-American Mary Tucker will compete for the United States at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Tucker will take part in three events over the course of a week, competing in mixed team air rifle, women's air rifle and women's smallbore. Below is the full schedule. Mountaineers Earn ABCA Academic Honor
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University baseball team earned the 2023-24 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack, the American Baseball Coaches Association announced. The award highlights programs coached by ABCA members that posted a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale for the entire 2023-24 academic year. For the year, the Mountaineers earned a cumulative GPA of 3.12. With the honor, WVU secured its second Team Academic Excellence Award and first since 2021-22. When a patient is diagnosed with cancer, the primary focus of medical care becomes the cancer itself with other conditions taking the back seat, officials said. Broadband authority OKs $20M for laptops
