The 15 most important Mountaineers for 2024: No. 10
We're inching closer and closer towards the 2024 football season, which means it's time to take a look at West Virginia's most important players for the upcoming year. Keep in mind that this isn't a ranking of the 15 best or most talented players on the roster, but rather the guys who will make the most impact on the result of the season based on their play. Whether WVU is highly successful or not in 2024 hinges on this group of players more so than anyone else. The list is an aggregate of three separate rankings from our staff (Chris Anderson, Mike Casazza and myself).
Stage AE debuts sober space for non-imbibing concertgoers
A new opportunity is available for live music lovers who want to stay sober. Stage AE recently became the first Pittsburgh concert venue to provide a permanent “sober space” at all of its events. Man shot, injured at Pennsylvania Trump rally released from hospital
One of the two men shot and injured in the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump has been released from the hospital, officials said. David Dutch, 57, was discharged on Wednesday, Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh said. Dutch was shot in the chest and liver and was initially in a medically induced coma after the shooting, according to the Marine Corps League of Pennsylvania. Dutch is a former Marine who serves as commandant of his Marine Corps League detachment, the organization said.

We are nearing even closer to the 2024 college football season and a lot of Mountaineer fans have shown excitement about this team. Neal Brown will be entering his sixth season as the head coach of West Virginia and has put together a roster that’s ready to compete. Three anglers have lost their fishing privileges for five years and three others may lose theirs as well for an October incident involving 74 steelhead and more than $5,500 in fines in Erie County.
