HAZLET, NJ: Utilizing grants and low interest rate loans, the governing body in Hazlet has made much needed improvements over the last few years, providing great amenities for its residents. Among them to highlight a couple: The 8th Street Park Improvement Plan that transformed 8th Street Park into a multi-faceted park for all children called Freedom Park. It opened in October 2023. Six Pickleball courts and two Tennis Courts were installed in Veterans Park in July 2023.
