Fantastic Fest Goes Console Crazy With Fantastic Games
Fantastic Fest is moving back into gaming with the addition Fantastic Games, a new showcase in partnership with indie gaming nonprofit Day of the Devs. The event will run across the opening weekend of this year's film festival, Sept. 20-22, and will be open to all Fantastic Fest badge holders. Fantastic Fest is now owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment as part of their purchase of the Alamo Drafthouse chain in June.

Four Longhorns named to preseason award watch lists ahead of 1st SEC season
Quinn Ewers, Kelvin Banks Jr., Anthony Hill Jr., and Jahdae Barron are all on respective award lists for their positions as the season nears. Westlake Ace Hardware announced it has agreed to acquire four stores from Breed & Co. Ace Hardware, a family-owned retailer based in Austin, Texas.
