87-year-old dead after being hit by car while crossing the street

POLAND, Ohio (WKBN) — A woman is dead after being hit by a car while crossing the street in Poland.

Around 9:30 p.m. Sunday night, the driver was traveling west on 224 near Diana Drive when the car hit 87-year-old Rita Barbush.

Barbush died at the scene.

Ohio State Highway Patrol says the crash remains under investigation.
