    Six Maine high school seniors receive Good Science Scholarships totaling $15,000 from Poland Spring

    POLAND SPRING – BlueTriton Brands through its Poland Spring® Brand has awarded $2,500 scholarships to six Maine high school seniors as part of its annual Good Science Scholarship program.

    “Through our Poland Spring Good Science Scholarship Program, we can pass on our core values of stewardship and sustainability of our environment to the next generation.” said Heather Printup, community relations manager for Poland Spring. “We look forward to helping these college-bound students continue their educational journey.

    Poland Spring has awarded more than $300,000 in scholarships since the program’s inaugural year in 2007. Qualifying Maine seniors must attend a Poland Spring host community high school, plan to pursue a degree or training in life science, physical science, earth science, engineering or environmental science or policy, or similar field and submit an essay highlighting what environmental stewardship means to them.

    This year’s scholarship recipients are as follows:

    Talen Langevin/Engineering

    Gray-New Gloucester High School

    Amelia Bowie/Political Science

    Bonny Eagle High School

    Allie Hesler/Environmental Science

    Xavier Lemieux/Biology

    Fryeburg Academy High School

    Margaret Albert/Environmental and Conservation Science

    Mt. Abram

    Samuel Cockerham/Biology·
