I understand this is now "old" but to answer Your question... It wouldn't look much different than The Current President to Me... Clearly for different reasons/justification but essentially the same thing... "abandoning His job"...

If Cooper leaves in secret, as this article suggests, then he is doing nothing more than abandoning his job, and corrupting the chain of command. What would that look like as a VP of America?
