Humane Society Pets of the Week – Sunday, July 28, 2024

Polk Today provides this weekly feature promoting dogs and cats up for adoption at the Cedartown Polk County Humane Society . Please consider providing these pets a loving home or tell those who might be interested about their availability.

Hawkeye

Hawkeye is an adorable 1½ year old 25 pound dachshund mix that is a very handsome little low rider!!!! He gets along very well with other dogs, cats, and kids. However, he does not get along with chickens and goats – so he must be a city dog. He is house trained and walks very well on his leash. Hawkeye is calm and playful and will make someone a wonderful companion, as long as they don’t have livestock!!!!

As with all our dogs, Hawkeye has been tested for heartworms, vaccinated appropriate for age, neutered, and microchipped. Microchip registration is included in the adoption fee. All our pets are given flea and heartworm preventatives monthly.

Enzo

Enzo is a handsome 2.5 pound, gray domestic short haired boy that loves to play and purr. He is almost 3 months old and enjoys toys and sitting in a lap.

As with all of our cats and kittens, Enzo has been tested for FIV and Feline leukemia, vaccinated appropriate for age, neutered, and microchipped. Microchip registration is included in the adoption fee. All our pets are given flea and heartworm preventatives monthly.
