Lloyd Edwin Sorrell Sr.

Mr. Lloyd Edwin Sorrell Sr., age 66, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024.

Mr. Sorrell was born in North Carolina on June 13, 1958, a son of the late Herbert Russell Sorrell, Sr., and Margie B. Warnick Sorrell.

He enjoyed cookouts, going on vacation, watching television and spending time with family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sorrell was preceded in death by two brothers, Herbert Russell Sorrell, Jr., and Alan Sorrell.

Mr. Sorrell is survived by a daughter, Ashley Sorrell; sons, Lloyd Edwin (Kami) Sorrell, Jr., and Russell “Rosco” (Bridget) Sorrell; grandchildren, Emma Sorrell, Andrew Sorrell, Addison Sorrell, Russell Sorrell, Kaiden Sorrell, Wylder Sorrell, Lindsey (Dakota) Timms, Jordan (Meghan) Jones, Bryce Jones, Brody Jones, Cristina Casey, and Emilyn Sorrell; great-grandchildren, James Jones, Weston Timms, Carson Jones, and Kinsley Dover; sisters, Cheryl English and Michelle Fry; brother, Curtis Sorrell.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Sorrell will be cremated, and no formal service is planned at this time.
