Fairgrounds ready for 10 days of tradition at the North Idaho State Fair
The North Idaho State Fair was more than a week away as Alexcia Jordan walked at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds on a sunny afternoon. The general manager and CEO watched as a man passed by on his way to the fair office with an entry for the fair. In one building, quilt judging was going on. In another, they were setting up art and photographs. A minute later, a woman rode by on an ATV and asked Jordan how she was doing.
Twin Falls May Still See an In-N-Out
The burger chain isn’t going down without a fight. In-N-Out is appealing a denial of its proposed Twin Falls location. The City Council has been briefed by Planning and Zoning. It’s not that the city wanted to block the application, it was a dispute over a planned drive-through. Fugitive wanted for stalking arrested by marshals in Rupert neighborhood
RUPERT — The U.S. Marshal Service Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force located and arrested Austin Allen Genius pursuant to a felony arrest warrant issued on May 9 for two counts of first degree stalking issued by the 3rd Judicial District Court in Canyon County and for a parole violation issued by the Idaho Department of Correction stemming from a previous criminal conviction for stalking in 2021.
