Woman accused of fatally stabbing man tells Syracuse court she was defending herself
Syracuse, N.Y. -- A 28-year-old woman accused of fatally stabbing a man in Syracuse claimed it was in self-defense during a tense argument with the victim’s family in court. Shandrika Kersey was arraigned in Syracuse City Court Tuesday morning. She is accused of stabbing Jermil Washington, 49, in the neck on Friday.
