TROY, Idaho — The Latah County Sheriff's Office said Level 3 Evacuations (GO NOW) have been issued for a active fire burning in Troy, Idaho. Crews Battling new 1000 Acre Lightning-Caused Wildfire in Nez Perce County
JULIAETTA - Nez Perce County, about 5 miles southwest of Juliaetta, just south of the Latah County line. Incident Overview: Firefighters are battling the Gwen Fire, a new lightning-caused fire that started around 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The blaze, currently burning grass and brush in steep canyon terrain, was estimated to be about 800 acres in size as of 9:30 a.m. on Thursday has now grown to 1000 acres.
