BOISE, Idaho — A young bull moose has been spotted in Southeast Boise, according to Float the Boise and Idaho Fish and Game. Float the Boise said while the moose doesn't directly pose a safety threat, area residents and river recreators should take precautions to avoid an encounter with the moose.

Idaho Experiences Nearly 3,000 Lightning Strikes in 24-Hours
In what was nothing short of a 'shocking' report--we are now learning that in about 24-hours, Idaho experience nearly 3,000 individual lightning strikes over the gem state. Each summer in the Treasure Valley, we know exactly what to expect. Things start off slow, and then we wake up one day to scorching heat. That heat will stick around for a few days, and then things will cool off a bit. When they cool off, we get a thunderstorm and then said thunderstorm takes over social media for 24-hours, at least.
