    Five teenagers shot at house party in Pontiac, Crime Stoppers offering $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest

    PONTIAC (WWJ) A shooting at a party in Pontiac leaves five teenagers hospitalized.

    The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said deputies, Star EMS and the Waterford Regional Department responded to a shooting on Friday around 12:15 a.m. at a home on Jessie Street (300 block) near Paddock and Auburn. The caller told them “there was a large party, a fight had broken out and shots had been fired into the crowd.”

    Upon arriving, first responders found five teenagers who had been shot in their arms or legs. Deputies put a tourniquet on one of the victim’s wounds and took him to the hospital for treatment. Paramedics transported the other four; according to the sheriff’s office.

    Deputies located multiple shell casings at the scene, the sheriff’s office said.

    An Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Evidence Technician also came to assist.

    The sheriff’s office identified the victims as three boys, 14 of Pontiac; one boy, 15 of Pontiac; and one boy, 15 of Auburn Hills.

    Their injuries are believed to be “non-life-threatening,” the sheriff’s office told WWJ.

    Their conditions have not been released.

    Deputies arrested a man, 34, at the scene for an outstanding warrant not related to the shooting, the sheriff’s office said.

    No information has been released about a suspect(s).
