Register now for the International Friendship Day 5K and fun run

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The third annual S2S Facts fun run commemorating International Friendship Day will be held on July 27 in Pooler.

The run aims to bring friends and family together to commemorate friendship and community. It will begin with the “Tiny Tots” fun run at 7 a.m., and then the 5K, lasting from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

S2S Facts, Inc., is a nonprofit organization focused on bringing women and young girls aged 10 and over of different backgrounds together to inspire unity, diversity and empathy while shining a spotlight on socio-economic issues.

WSAV’s Kim Gusby spoke with Donna Williams, founder and executive director of the organization, in May to commemorate World Hunger Day.

The 5K Friendship Fun Run is centered around running, movement, happiness, unity peace, friendship and diversity in a welcoming and festive environment.

The event will take place at Tanger Outlets in Pooler.
