Why is it the summer months always seem to move so quickly? Starbuck will be celebrating Heritage Days just after the Fourth of July and Waterama will be going on in Glenwood a few weeks later. After that, school is only a few weeks away and the months we anticipate all winter long will be gone.

Is he a real progressive?” We can best answer this question by publishing his statement, which he gave at the time he filed for governor on the Farmer-Labor ticket. His statement is as follows: “In compliance with the request of the Hennepin County central committee of the Farmer-Labor Federation and representative Farmer-Labor leaders in St. Paul and other parts of Minnesota, I have filed as a candidate for governor on the Farmer-Labor ticket.”

Besides some great food served by staff of the Minnewaska House Brewing Co + Grill and Waterama Royalty, the guests of the Summer Party also enjoyed some great music by Duffy Morton and The Velvet Brass, prize raffles, grab-bags and much more. All in all, it was a great way to kick off the summer.
