Two Mississippi women severely injured in shooting, suspect on the loose
BROOKHAVEN, Miss. (WLBT) - Two women are left with severe injuries after LaDamian Dewanqez White, 16, repeatedly shot them. According to the Brookhaven Police Department, officers were dispatched to Ozark Lane on a shots fired call. When officers arrived, two women who had been struck by multiple rounds were discovered.

EMCC ALUMNUS DANIEL WADE TO LEAD MIGHTY LION BAND
July 18, 2024 — East Mississippi Community College has tapped Kemper County native Daniel Wade to fill the position of band director for the Mighty Lion Band. The hire represents a homecoming for Wade, who graduated from EMCC in 1999.
