Seahawks Could Cut QB Geno Smith in Favor of ‘Younger Option’ in 2025: Insider
The Seattle Seahawks have made it clear that Geno Smith is the team’s starting quarterback this season, but the Pro Bowler’s future beyond 2024 remains murky. The Athletic’s Michael-Shawn Dugar wrote that Smith is entering a “make or break” season with Pete Carroll no longer as the Seahawks’ head coach. If Seattle moves on from Smith in 2025, Sam Howell or another “younger” quarterback could take over the offense, Dugar wrote.
Following Chehalis HR manager’s retirement, city also seeking new clerk and city manager’s administrative assistant
In late June, the City of Chehalis announced it was looking for a new human resources (HR) manager as Glenn Schaffer retired after 17 years of working for the city. While the city has received applications from several candidates for the position, it is now also looking for a new city clerk, according to a City of Chehalis news release, following Chehalis City Clerk Kassi Bateman’s decision to leave.
