A woman's toddler died of a fentanyl overdose in her bed. She is now charged with manslaughter
SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — A Stanwood woman was charged July 10 with manslaughter after her young daughter died of a fentanyl overdose in 2022. Morgan Bassett, 34, woke up on the morning of Jan. 14, 2022, to find her toddler, identified by initials in court documents, unresponsive. Authorities arrived at the "manufactured home" to find Bassett and her unresponsive baby as well as two other men.
WA man faces hate crime charges after knife attack in Edmonds
EDMONDS, Wash. - A 47-year-old man has been charged with hate crime assault in connection to a knife attack at an Ezell's Famous Chicken in Edmonds. Snohomish County prosecutors have charged 47-year-old Marcus Damion Anderson with second-degree assault, two counts of third-degree assault, and a hate crime offense in connection to the attack, which happened June 14.

LYNNWOOD — Months after a partial skull was discovered at a park in Lynnwood, authorities are asking for help to identify the remains. Port Angeles-to-Sequim highway chase ends with no injuries
Local law enforcement were able to arrest and take a man into custody Wednesday afternoon following a high speed chase on U.S. Highway 101 from Port Angeles to Sequim.
