National Alliance on Mental Illness to host open house on June 25

The open house will be held at 5:30 p.m. at St. Clair County Community Mental Health at 3111 Electric Ave. in Port Huron, in the Summit Board Room.

A news release announcing the open house said NAMI will showcase programs to help those with mental illness and their families.

“We are thrilled to open our doors to the community and showcase the work we can do with NAMI Blue Water Area,” Tori Ferres, NAMI Blue Water Area president, said in the news release. “This Open House is a great opportunity for individuals to learn about our mission, how we can provide support, and how they can get involved in our efforts to improve mental health in our community.”

The open house will host a guess speaker who will discuss their experience with mental illness.
