A faulty engine part is being blamed for a private plane crash last year in Yorktown, according to a report by the National Transportation Safety Board. The pilot was flying a single-engine Cessna from Westchester County Airport to Orange County Airport when he lost power while climbing to cruise altitude, the report said.
