Kokomo’s Bar & Grill in Carlisle closes suddenly; employees blindsided
CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) — Kokomo’s Sports Bar & Grill in Carlisle suddenly closed its doors over the weekend. abc27 news reported back in December 2023 when Kokomo’s Bar & Grill listed their sports bar on 1582 Holly Pike for sale for $1,250,000. At the time, the bar had just relocated from a space in Lewisberry that has since been taken over by a new sports bar called the Horn Pub.
Phamtastic Boba shop opens with extensive drink menu
Blenders are whirling at a new boba tea shop in Lower Paxton Township. Phamtastic Boba & Food opened today at 5401 Jonestown Road with an extensive and colorful beverage menu. The restaurant carries dozens of fruit teas, slushies, smoothies and milk teas along with a small food menu of Vietnamese-style chicken wings, fried rice and sandwiches.
Historic, castle-like 1800s Cumberland County mansion listed for sale
SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A historic Cumberland County mansion built in the 1800s has been listed for sale. According to a Zillow listing, The Majestic Hawk Mansion is a “distinguished Victorian-era home” built in the 1890s.
