One of the best brews in the country can be found right in Fairfax County at Caboose Brewing Company, according to the judges of the 2024 U.S. Open Beer Championship. The brewery, which owns and operates Caboose Tavern (520 Mill Street) in Vienna and Caboose Commons (2918 Eskridge Road) near the Mosaic District in Merrifield, won a gold medal at the national competition, which announced winners in dozens of categories on July 9.
Veteran-owned drive-thru Starbucks coming to Dumfries
The Prince William County Board of County Supervisors on Tuesday unanimously approved a new drive-thru Starbucks, slated to be built at 17050 Richmond Highway in Dumfries. The business will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is located just south of the intersection of Richmond Highway and Pine Bluff Drive in Princeton Woods.
