SC Troopers Association, SC Highway Patrol Hold Inaugural Henry C. Harrison Humanitarian Award Gala
GREENVILLE — The SC Troopers Association, in partnership with the SC Highway Patrol, held the inaugural Henry C. Harrison Humanitarian Award Gala on Friday, July 26, in Greenville. The ceremony recognized a South Carolina Highway Patrol trooper with the Henry C. Harrison Humanitarian Award, with special remarks provided by Governor Henry McMaster, SC Senate President Thomas Alexander, SC Supreme Court Chief Justice-Elect John Kittredge, and former Representative Fletcher Smith, SC House of Representatives.
A Note from Bluffton Mayor Larry Toomer
The Town has designated approximately five acres of land near the Bluffton Police Department in Buckwalter Place for economic development. We are collaborating with a private developer to build 50,000 square feet of commercial space, with 14,000 square feet donated to the Town’s economic development department, The Don Ryan Center for Innovation (DRCI). This space will be used to offer reduced commercial rates for start-up and growth businesses in the region.
