Police seek public’s help to find 13-year-old runaway
A 13-year-old Southfield girl has been missing since Thursday night and police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding her. La’nay Thomas left home on Aug. 1 at 10:30 p.m., according to the Southfield Police Department. She’s described as a black female, 5 feet 2 inches tall and approximately 130 pounds, with brown eyes and short red hair in an “afro” style. When she left home she was wearing gray shorts and a dark top, police said.
