BRIDGEPORT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJRT) - One person has been arrested related to one of the shootings in Bridgeport Township on Sunday that hospitalized two. $50K+ Amazon return scheme leads to charges against 2 Michigan men
CANTON, Mich. (FOX 2) - A scheme to manipulate Amazon's return process to steal more than $50,000 in merchandise led to charges against two Canton men, authorities said. According to Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, Ali F. Habash, 28, is charged with six counts of false pretenses $1,000 or more but less than $20,000, uttering and publishing, forgery, and continuing a criminal enterprise. Ahmed Al-Bahia, 22, is charged with one count of false pretenses $1,000 or more but less than $20,000.

Heavy rain leads to flooding across Southeast Michigan
(CBS DETROIT) - Flash flood warnings have been issued for portions of Southeast Michigan as rain continues into the afternoon Friday. After heavy rain and storms late Thursday into Friday, more flooding is possible, especially in Macomb County.The Clinton River is slightly above flood stage. There is a flood warning for Macomb County and Clinton Township as rain adds up in the Clinton River. The flood stage is 16 feet. A flash flood warning has also been issued for Macomb and Wayne counties until 4 p.m. At 7:30 a.m. Friday, the river was at 16.4 feet. The Clinton River is expected to drop below flood stage late on Friday. Rain chances will stick around through Friday afternoon. By the weekend, the area of low pressure bringing the rain will move out of Southeast Michigan. Highs will be in the upper 80s with clearing skies for the weekend. Rain chances return next Tuesday with highs back in the 70s.
Sculpting contest celebrates a decade of sand art
This weekend, the Fort Gratiot Light Station County Park will welcome in sand sculptors from around the world for the 10th Blue Water Sand Fest. The festival – which is a partnership between the Friends of the Fort Gratiot Light Station, Port Huron Museum, and The Sand Lovers competitive sculpting organization – raises funds for the historic preservation of the light station.
