SUPERIOR, Wis. - A new exhibit is opening at the Richard I. Bong Center next weekend. The interactive exhibit is called “Post Office in the Pacific.” It highlights the experience of Captain Clarence Scheibe of Cloquet, Minn. who was responsible for highly confidential communications between Washington, D.C., and other Allied Commands, as well as personal communications between soldiers and loved ones during World War II. It opens September 7 and will be featured for the next year.

The Cheese Capital Wine Walk was held on Friday, August 16th, 2024, from 6-9 pm, and participants did not let a little rain ruin the fun evening!. Participants enjoyed sipping delicious wines from across Wisconsin while shopping at Wine Walk Stops.
