High-price warning: Most and least expensive gas in Portage as of Sunday

(PORTAGE, WI) If you’re paying more than $2.98 for gas in the Portage area, you could be getting a better deal.

Depending on where you fill up, you could be losing as much as $0.06 per gallon, according to an analysis by GasBuddy on Sunday.

According to GasBuddy, the average price in the Portage area was $2.98 per gallon - but stations varied widely, with prices from $2.93 to $2.99 per gallon for regular.

As of Sunday, the most expensive gas in the Portage area appeared to be at Portage Mart, at 601 E Wisconsin St.

The title of cheapest gas, meanwhile, goes to Mobil at N5755 Wi-78. As of 05:56 PM, Tuesday, they had regular listed at $2.93 per gallon.
