ST. LOUIS — St. Louis native and nationally renowned mural artist, Lisa Marie Thalhammer, is on a mission to connect all 50 states through love, rainbows, and murals. Lisa's most recent rainbow Love Mural found a home at Platypus Bar in the Grove. The award-winning hotspot, owned by Netflix Drink Masters' Meredith Barry, was named named Best Underrated Bar in America just last year. Lisa and Meredith met last year and the two decided to team up on the project.

Jones departs Crystal City for Ste. Genevieve
A fixture in Crystal City athletics has moved on. Ken Jones resigned in June as Crystal activities director and director of transportation and is the new transportation director for the Ste. Genevieve R-II School District. The Chiefs have a worrisome issue developing after the first couple of days at training camp, as veteran safety Justin Reid hasn't practiced due to a surprise injury.
