Nick Gower, of Anson, received the Eagle Scout rank, the highest award in Scouting, during a ceremony held on July 13 at the Garret Schenck School. Brunswick Crash Leaves Elderly Woman and Deputy Injured
Two people, including Maine deputy Todd McGee, were injured in a crash yesterday, July 24, on on Harpswell Road in Brunswick. Reportedly, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Deputy McGee, with his lights on, attempted to pass several cars, when a vehicle driven by a 71-year-old Topsham woman began turning left into the deputy’s path, resulting in the crash. She has serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while the deputy was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
