HOUSTON, Texas — A man is wanted by law enforcement for allegedly assaulting his neighbor, according to Harris County authorities. On June 23, 2024, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to an assault call in the 17000 block of Bullis Gap Drive. Upon arrival, deputies met with the complainant, who reported being assaulted by a known suspect, resulting in bodily injury.

Constables arrest suspects for possession of prohibited weapon
HOUSTON, Texas — Deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office arrested two men after a traffic stop revealed they were in possession of altered firearms. On July 7, 2024, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 19200 block of Atascocita Road. The occupants were identified as Xavier Gaines and Dontavius Mathes. Further investigation revealed they were in possession of two Glock handguns that had been altered with a switch enabling the weapons to be fully automatic. One of the weapons was reported stolen to the Houston Police Department.
