That's when Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said they "discovered what appears to be a deceased newborn male infant amongst the collected trash waste."
Motorcycle leads deputies on 7-mile chase in Channelview
CHANNELVIEW, Texas — A motorcyclist led deputies on a seven-mile chase in Channelview before being apprehended, authorities said. While patrolling the 430 block of Sheldon Road, Harris County Constable Precinct 3 deputies observed a male driver operating a black motorcycle with no license plate. Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the driver disregarded emergency lighting equipment and traffic signals, leading to a pursuit that ended at the 14030 block of McNair Street. The driver then attempted to evade on foot but was ultimately apprehended by deputies and placed in custody, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 3.

SPRING, Texas — Investigators with the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office say an elderly woman in Spring died Wednesday when her home caught fire. A 911 caller reported smoke coming from the home on Loddington Street in the Fox Run neighborhood. The caller said a woman who lived alone in the house might be trapped inside.
