4 Harris County SWAT members injured in 'scary situation' during training, sheriff says
Four SWAT members were hurt during a training overnight in Eagle Lake when their helicopter began experiencing issues, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.Tuesday morning, Gonzalez said that due to the issue, the team made a rough landing on Old Altair Road, injuring every passenger, but they don't believe the injuries are life-threatening. Gonzalez added that the instructor and helicopter pilot were also hurt.A scary situation unfolded overnight. @HCSOSWAT members were participating in a nighttime training in Eagle Lake, Texas. The training, hosted by an established training group, also included other SWAT teams. Houston police investigate fatal shooting on Richmond Avenue
HOUSTON, Texas — Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5920 Richmond Avenue early this morning. The identity of the 48-year-old victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. According to a press release from the Houston Police Department (HPD), HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective V. Nguyen reported that patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the parking lot of a bar at the above address and found the victim with at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Houston police await autopsy results in death of woman found on Tidwell Road
HOUSTON, Texas — Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a 63-year-old woman found at 8435 Tidwell Road on Monday afternoon. The identity and cause of death of the woman are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, according to a press release from the Houston Police Department (HPD). HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Patterson and N. Henderson reported that HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased person at the address and found the woman unresponsive and covered by multiple blankets. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.
Pickup truck driver wanted for intentionally hitting man after altercation, killing him, HPD says
A man is dead after being intentionally hit by a truck driver on the city's north side, according to the Houston Police Department.On Tuesday, at about 4:45 a.m., officers responded to an incident involving a pedestrian hit and killed by a pickup truck at W. Gulf Bank Road and Veterans Memorial Drive.
