HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 15, 2024) – An annual summer tradition in Holland ends with a bang on Thursday night. The weekly Street Performer Series, in which 8th Street downtown is blocked off for a variety of acts from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, ends its run. It is augmented by a Block Party outside of the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place, according to Linda Hart of the Holland Area Convention Bureau.

There is so much construction going on in Lansing at the moment. 127 has lane closures and shifts, both north and southbound between 96 and Saginaw. Not to mention, Michigan Avenue in various stretches between Frandor and east of Pennsylvania are being torn up and therefore closed down as part of the Michigan Avenue Corridor project.
