    90-unit multifamily project in Portland land use review intakes | May 20, 2024

    A weekly list of highlights from commercial land use review activity in Portland by the Bureau of Development Services in the prior week.

    Early assistance application

    Address: 4520 N. Colonial Ave.

    Applicant: Carrie Strickland of Works Progress Architecture

    Owners: 4520 N Colonial LLC and 1560 N Going LLC of Henderson, Nevada

    A revised multifamily development consolidating two lots into a single site is under review. This proposal calls for new construction including a four-story, 90-unit, walk-up (no elevator) apartment building with a mix of studios, one-bedroom units, and two-bedroom units. Stormwater would be managed on-site via drywells.

    Applicants:
    Marina Monihan of Technology Associates EC Inc. and Brian Flores of Dish Wireless LLC of Littleton, Colorado

    Owner: Asa Flats LLC of Dallas, Texas

    Dish Wireless LLC proposes to install on the rooftop three antennas, six remote radio heads, three over voltage protection systems, three fiberglass-reinforced plastic screens (painted and textured to match the existing building), and three hybrid cables. Also, one new metal platform, two cabinets and a new fiber box, one new meter and associated wireless equipment would be installed.

    Plans call for building new storefront systems, entries, and overhead doors on the north, west and south elevations, as well as adding exterior paint throughout.

    Applicant: Sean O’Neill of Canopy Building Group

    Owner: Garden Homes West Associates LLC

    The proposal includes 40 townhome-style units on a 1.73-acre site.

    Applicant:
    Marina Monihan of Technology Associates EC Inc.

    Owner: XHR Portland OCC LLC

    Dish Wireless LLC proposes to install on the rooftop three new antennas and six new radios with fiberglass-reinforced plastic screening painted to match the structure. A new platform with two cabinets and associated utility equipment will be behind the existing building equipment screening.
