Kohr Explores: Learn to fence at Director Park

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — Portland Native and U.S. Olympic Fencing Athlete Magda Skarbonkiewicz competed in this year’s Paris Olympics, and while she may have lost her latest match, a national campaign aims to win over others in the sport.

It’s called Fencing Across America and teaches at several locations nationwide, including at Director Park in Portland.

KOIN 6 News’ Kohr Harlan visited Director Park to get an early look at the educational campaign.
