McConnell’s Boxing Academy in Portland raises the bar for competition

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — After a successful professional boxing career, Molly McConnell made the decision to open her own boxing gym in the Portland area in 2012.

McConnell’s Boxing Academy serves the public as one of the premiere spots for fitness clients and competitive boxers as well. The variety of class options make it accessible to all age groups and skill levels alike.

A couple of up-and-coming fighters at MBA are primed to take over the Pacific Northwest’s boxing scene. As Aaron Thompson (1-0) and Lorenzo Caldera (8-1) look to be great, the technical formula they receive in the gym continues to pay off.

Aaron has an upcoming bout on the Arena Wars Fighting Series card, taking place August 17th in Springfield, OR, tickets are available directly at the gym or through their social channels. Lorenzo seeks his 10th professional bout later this fall.
