Hosted by the Texas Water Resources Institute and the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, the workshops will cover identical information and are geared towards residents in Jim Wells, Duval, Nueces and Kleberg counties who depend on septic systems to run their homes.
Federal agents at Delia’s Tamales in McAllen

EDINBURG, Texas – All the stucco on the outside of the new Hidalgo County Courthouse has to be taken off and replaced, County Judge Richard Cortez has revealed. The reason is that water is leaking in between the stucco and the outer wall. Cortez says the stucco cannot be replaced at the moment because we are in hurricane season.

Flower Mound is the most livable small city in Texas, according to a new study published this month by SmartAsset, an online personal finance company. Researchers compared key data points from 281 small cities, including unemployment rates, percentage of residents with health insurance, average commute times, annual housing costs as a percent of income, percent of residents below the poverty line and more, according to a news release from the town of Flower Mound.
