Auburn State Recreation Area Superintendent Lauren Shoemaker said on weekends during the busy time of the summer, vehicles have been lining up in a que along Foresthill Road. Visitors have been worried about the capacity issues of the Upper Lake Clementine parking lot, which holds 150 cars. Shoemaker said every weekend, ASRA officials have had to close the parking due to meeting capacity.
