MAFFS Aircraft Deployed in Support of California Fires
At the request of the National Interagency Fire Center, U.S. Northern Command deployed two C-130 aircraft equipped with Modular Airborne Fire Fighting Systems (MAFFS) from California and Colorado for wildland firefighting operations from Channel Islands Air National Guard Station in Port Hueneme, California, over multiple fires in California. Two additional aircraft will also be activated later this week from Nevada and Wyoming.

Best Bets: Free Sf Shakespeare Fest Kicks Off Summer Season Of 'The Tempest'
Nothing says summer quite like free outdoor Shakespeare and one of the Bay Area's best-loved purveyors swings into action this weekend. The San Francisco Shakespeare Festival is embarking on its 42nd season of Free Shakespeare in the Park. This year's production, running Saturday through Sept. 8 at three outdoor sites, is "The Tempest." It's believed that the Bard penned the play around 1610-11, and that it represents one of the last plays he wrote on his own.

He has a feisty personality and would love to go to a home with someone who has bearded dragon experience and is likely to understand him! For example, his future person might know that bearded dragons sometimes puff out their throats (or “beards”) when they become stressed or feel threatened.
