    Seacoast Friday boys tennis tournament: Winnacunnet, Exeter pull off quarterfinal upsets

    BOW - The Winnacunnet High School boys tennis team lost five matches in the regular season. One of those losses came at the hands of Bow.

    The Warriors got their revenge on Friday with a 6-3 win over No. 3 Bow in a Division II quarterfinal. The sixth-seeded Warriors will face either No. 2 Windam or No. 7 Souhegan on Tuesday in a semifinal.

    Winnacunnet's Chris Berry (No. 1, 9-8), Luke McLaughlin (No. 3, 8-0), Greyson Belliveau (No. 4, 8-5) and Drew Berry (No. 6, 8-6) all won their respective singles matches.

    In doubles, Chris Berry and McLaughlin won 9-8 at No. 1, and Bellliveau and Drew Berry won 9-8 at No. 3.

    DIVISION I

    No. 5 Exeter 5

    No. 4 Nashua South 4

    NASHUA - The Blue Hawks won four singles matches, and one doubles, leading to this Division I quarterfinal upset.

    Exeter will visit No. 1 Bedford on Tuesday in a semifinal.

    Exeter's Evan Simard (No. 2, 8-6), Nick Meyers (No. 3, 8-4), Owen Russell (No. 4, 8-5) and Pavel Pazourek (No. 5, 8-4) all won in singles.

    In doubles, Meyers and Russell won 8-4 at No. 2.

    No. 1 Bedford 8

    No. 8 Dover 1

    BEDFORD - The Green Wave, after beating Alvirne in the first, round, saw its season come to an end in a quarterfinal match.

    DIVISION II

    No. 1 Lebanon 7

    No. 8 Oyster River 2

    BEDFORD - Oyster River, after beating Coe-Brown in the first, round, saw its season come to an end in a quarterfinal match.
