    DURHAM — Arts In Reach announced the appointment of three distinguished new members to its Board of Directors. The organization welcomes Andrea Allen, Joseph Keefe, and Francie Osgood to the AIR family.

    Allen brings extensive experience in education and philanthropy. As a founding member of the Seacoast Women's Giving Circle and the Executive Director of Education for All Children, Allen has demonstrated a profound commitment to fostering educational opportunities and community development.

    Keefe is a renowned leader in sustainable investing and gender equality advocacy. With over 26 years of financial services leadership, including his roles as CEO at Impax Asset Management and co-founder of the Thirty Percent Coalition, Keefe's expertise will be invaluable to AIR's mission and strategic growth.

    Osgood offers a rich background in journalism, marketing, and graphic design. Her strong passion for youth support and community engagement aligns perfectly with AIR's goals. Osgood's skills and dedication will be instrumental in advancing AIR's initiatives and connecting with the community.

    Baker Newman Noyes announces senior promotions in N.H.

    PORTSMOUTH —  Baker Newman Noyes (BNN), a nationally recognized top 100 accounting and advisory firm, announced eight senior-level promotions in its Portsmouth and Manchester offices. The promotions below highlight managers and senior managers in the firm’s tax, assurance, and operations departments.

    Senior-level promotions in Portsmouth

    • Amy Cronin , CPA, of New Hampshire, has been promoted to Senior Manager in the tax practice. She specializes in income tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and closely-held business. She enjoys building long-term relationships with her clients and works to become a valued business advisor. She joined the firm in 2015. Amy earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
    • Lauren Litchfield, PMP,of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, has been promoted to Manager in the advisory practice. She provides clients support with strategic planning, governance and operational structure, program development, system selection and implementation, and process redesign. Prior to joining BNN, Litchfield worked in operations and IT at a Boston-based hospital. She received a bachelor’s degree in Health Management and Policy from the University of New Hampshire.

    These promotions were announced among 25 senior-level promotions across the firm’s Manchester, N.H.; Portsmouth, N.H.; Woburn, Mass.; Boston, Mass.; and Portland, Maine offices.

    Kennebunk Savings welcomes new Board Members

    KENNEBUNK, Maine — Kennebunk Savings has elected five new members to its Board of Directors. The new directors represent diverse professional experiences combined with local ties and involvement in our communities, all of which will help to guide future growth and ensure a continued commitment to our customers, communities and employees.

    John Bosen will be lending his extensive legal expertise. Bosen recently joined Donahue, Tucker & Ciandella in Portsmouth, New Hampshire as a partner after having founded and operated Bosen & Associates in Portsmouth since 2004. Bosen specializes in real estate, commercial lending, zoning and land use, and business law. He is also recognized for his community service, including his current role on the board of the St. Nicholas Foundation.

    Michael “Wes” Macleod-Ball brings a rich background in law and advocacy. A founding member of Bergen & Parkinson in Kennebunk, Macleod-Ball transitioned for several years to serve in positions at the American Civil Liberties Union.  He has returned to Bergen & Parkinson where he is now Of Counsel providing strategic management and policy guidance to businesses, developers, and not-for-profit organizations. He also teaches administrative law and critical reasoning at the University of Mississippi as an Adjunct Professor.

    Nichole Raftopoulos, the CEO and founder of Nvest Financial, joins the board with a focus on financial planning and client education. With a Master of Science degree in financial planning and several professional designations, Nichole's expertise is pivotal in addressing the comprehensive financial needs of her clients. She also shares the leadership of the marketing arm of her firm and leads its philanthropic work through the nonprofit, “Operation Love… from home”.

    Richard “Rick” Simonds, Jr. adds over 25 years of extensive experience in technology and cybersecurity to the board. Simonds’ career included 15 years at Sage Data Security culminating in the role of president and COO and his most recent role as vice president and general manager at Tyler Technologies. His focus on data protection was a consistent theme throughout his professional career.

    Kathleen Torpey Chase is the owner and president of TLAdvisory, providing consulting services for startup businesses and supporting strategic planning, merger and acquisition, and divesture activities. Torpey Chase brings over three decades of finance industry experience including executive roles at Artel, EnviroLogix, and IDEXX Laboratories. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree from Manhattan College. Torpey Chase is also dedicated to community service, actively participating on the board of the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire and the Manhattan College Mentor Program.

    Mitchell Genkinger joins Northwestern Mutual – Portsmouth, NH

    PORTSMOUTH — – Mitchell Genkinger has joined leading financial security company Northwestern Mutual – Portsmouth, N.H. as financial representative, effective July 31, 2024.

    In his new role, Genkinger will join a team of specialists offering a wide array of products. In offering comprehensive financial planning, he will provide expert guidance and innovative solutions for a variety of financial needs and goals.

    Before joining Northwestern Mutual, Genkinger was a Sales Specialist at The Home Depot in Somersworth, N.H.

    Genkinger resides in Rochester, New Hampshire. Genkinger is a native of Rochester, N.H. He graduated in 2022 from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, N.H. with his bachelors degree in Finance and Financial Management Services.

    Genkinger holds his Life, Accident and Health Producers License in New Hampshire.
