Wednesday Seacoast Roundup: York, Dover golf teams earn season-opening wins

OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine – Seniors TJ Reagan and Ryan Cummins each carded a 4-over-par 40 to lead the York High School golf team to a season-opening three-team win on Wednesday at Dunegrass Country Club.

York shot a team score of 166, beating Wells (191) and Old Orchard Beach (245).

Jace Rea (42), Riley Butters (44), Liam Connors (51), and Max Zuckerman (52) rounded out the York roster.

GOLF

Dover goes 2-1 in opening match

MANCHESTER – Collin Moe shot a 42, and Tyler Buchanan 43 and Des Fennessy each had a 43 for Dover in a three-team match at Manchester Country Club.

Bedford had a team score of 193, and Dover had a 218. Keene (220) and Pinkerton (224) also competed.

Ben Zbikowski had a 44 for the Green Wave, and Michael Gorman and Sam MacGregor both had a 46.
